Kurulus Osman Episode 5 Review
Kurulus Osman Episode 5 started with the visit of the Byzantium side to the Kayi Plain. Sofia, Kalanos along the head of market Aliser Bey are talking to Dundar Bey. There is a difference between their opinions as Kalanos is interested for Osman to be judged in the castle while Aliser Bey wants him to be judged in Sogut. Finally, they agreed for Sogut after Princess Sofia’s opinion. Sheikh Edebali asks Kurulus Osman to visit him. Gunduz Bey is searching for Dundar Bey and his brother. Kurulus Osman orders his Alps to take Bala Hatun and Dursun Bey to the plain so that they can be cured. And Kurulus Osman himself goes to meet Sheikh Edebali. Kurulus Osman wants Sheikh Edebali to go to the Kayi Plain as soon as possible. As the Alps reach the plain, Dundar Bey sends them to the caged tent. Bala Hatun’s condition is very pity as she had been tortured a lot. Zohre Hatun is trying her best to cure her. Sheikh Edebali gives an idea to Kurulus Osman to kidnap Sofia as she is the daughter of Effendi Yannis after which he will be compelled to give them the cure.

Kalanos, Sofia, and Yannis are planning to create misunderstandings in the Kayi Tribe. They plan to get the treasure back by using the loving relation of Kurulus Osman and Bala Hatun. As Aliser Bey comes to know about the poisoned Bala Hatun, he goes to Kayi Plain. On the other hand, Dundar’s son Batur goes to the caged tent and tortures Osman’s Alps. Kurulus Osman has been called to court by the men sent by Aliser Bey. Sheikh Edebali comes to the Kayi Plain and meets with his daughter. Dundar Bey and Zohre Hatun come to know that Aygul loves Kurulus Osman but Zohre wants her to marry Aliser Bey. Dundar Bey gets disturbed after the arrival of Edeballi to the Kayi Plain.
Gunduz Bey plans to kidnap Kurulus Osman in case it needed as he is worried about him. Kalanos suggests attacking the Turks if they want the treasure back but Sofia is not of his opinion. She suggests creating chaos between the Kayi Tribe. Kurulus Osman along with Bamsi and Sama attack the castle and kidnap Sofia and Kalanos. Dundar Bey and Aliser Bey are talking about Osman’s trial while waiting for the Kadis (judges) to come. Kurulus Osman sends Kalanos back to Yannis to make him aware of his daughter’s abduction. Kalanos’s man goes to the court and informs them about the action of Kurulus Osman. They get angry and Aliser Bey goes out to search for Osman along with Dundar and Gunduz Bey.
Kalanos reaches the castle and informs Effendi Yannis that Sofia has been kidnaped. In the meantime, Kurulus Osman goes to the Kayi Plain with Sofia to visit Bala Hatun. Dundar Bey, Gunduz Bey, and Aliser Bey also reach there. Aliser Bey orders the Alps to capture Kurulus Osman but Osman Alps hinder them to do so. Kurulus Osman asks for Sofia to be judged instead of him. Kalanos reaches at the moment while taking antidote with him. Edebali takes the antidote from Kalanos and gives it to Bala Hatun. After which Kalanos accepts that the person behind all these crimes is Effendi Yannis and Kurlus Osman is innocent in all these cases and he takes an oath to execute Yannis. Aliser Bey accepts his offer but Bamsi Bey objects this decision. Kurulus Osman convinces Bamsi Bey.
Effendi Yannis asks forgiveness from ALLAH. Bala Hatun is in good condition after drinking the antidote. Kurulus Osman talks to her and says he will marry her when his father will return from Konya. Meanwhile, he comes to know that his Alps have been arrested. He goes to the tent of Dundar Bey who asks him about what he did to Batur. He says to Osman that the blood washes the blood. After listening to this, Osman stabs himself in the shoulder. Sofia has been returned to Yannis and she talks with him in the castle. Yannis accepts to be executed tomorrow. Aygul is crying for Osman but her mother scolds her and says that she will marry Aliser Bey. Osman being wounded comes to Ertugrul’s tent where he is cured by Gunduz Bey. Bamsi Bey and the Alps are waiting for Osman to come and eat with them but Bamsi tells them to start eating while hiding the last event.
Sheikh Edebali comes to visit Kurulus Osman and teaches him the lesson about justice while discussing the cutting of a thief’s hands and stabbing himself. Aygul comes to the tent in which Bala Hatun is, and blames her about all that happened. She says her to stop following Osman. Bala Hatun says that Kurulus Osman wants to be alone and he cannot be controlled. Aygul gets angry and says them to leave the Kayi Plain. As the sun rises, Kurulus Osman learns that Sheikh Edebali and Bala Hatun have left the Kayi Plain. Kurulus Osman tries to search for them in the market. In doing so, he goes to the same secret room where someone else is waiting for him. Kurulus Osman gets closer to him and asks who he is. He comes to know that he is Effendi Yannis.
So the questions arise, what Yannis is doing there? Will he be executed? Will Osman be able to find Sheikh Edebali and his love Bala Hatun? What is the next evil plan of the Byzantium side? What will be the decision of Osman when he will come to know about Aygul?
